Pryor, OK — Patrick James Brennan Long, 26, Pryor, was in Mayes County District Court on Tuesday, charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and domestic assault and battery by strangulation. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket Aug 30. Bond was set at $30,000. He was ordered to have no contact with the alleged victims. Long is alleged to have cut Michael Gangwer with a knife and attempted to strangle Love Belyeu July 30.

Jay Franklin Furnas Jr., 30, Pryor, was in Mayes County District Court Tuesday charged with second degree burglary and knowingly concealing stolen property. Furnas, who was represented by Chris Lyons, pleaded not guilty. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket Aug 30. Bond was set at $10,000. Furnas is alleged to have broken into a dwelling at 831 S. Highway 82 in Salina, owned by Ruby Rice, on July 29. Furnas allegedly concealed a dog owned by Rice.  Furnas was convicted in June 2004 in Mayes County of unlawful possession of a precursor substance without attached permit, knowingly concealing stolen property and possession of marijuana.

McGirt has a motion to accelerate a deferred sentence hearing on Sept. 10 on two counts of domestic assault and battery by strangulation. Bond on that case is $10,000. McGirt has a willful failure to pay hearing on Aug. 8. McGirt owes $4,426,89 for his fines from the strangulation case. Bond on the willful failure to pay hearing is 10 times the amount owed.

Kyle Jodan Sanders, 25, Pryor, was in Mayes County District Court Tuesday, charged with domestic abuse assault and battery and assault and battery. Sanders pleaded not guilty. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket Sept 7. Bond was set at $10,000.

Clifton Dan Wehrle, 22, Vinita, was in Mayes County District Court Tuesday, charged with domestic assault and battery in presence of a minor. Wehrle pleaded not guilty. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket Sept. 7. Bond was set at $10,000. Wehrle was ordered to have no contact with the alleged victim.

Heath Patrick Haney, 33, Disney, was in Mayes County District Court on Tuesday, charged with domestic abuse assault and battery. Haney pleaded not guilty. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket Sept. 7. Bond was set at $2,000 and he was ordered to have no contact with the alleged victim.

Jeffery Chase Fitzpatrick, 20, Locust Grove, was in Mayes County District Court Monday, charged with possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute. Fitzpatrick pleaded not guilty. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket Aug 30. Bond was set at $50,000.

Fitzpatrick allegedly had methampehtamines on his person on July 20. Fitzpatrick has a motion to accelerate a deferred judgment hearing on Sept. 10 and a failure to pay hearing set for Aug. 1, based on a 2011 conviction of breaking and entering and public intoxication. Fitzpatrick has a Sept. 7 hearing on charges of operating a motor vehicle while license is suspended and not wearing a seat belt from May 2011. Bond on driving without a license is $500 and not wearing a seat belt is $100.
