Anthony David Guiterriez, 24, Salina, was in Mayes County District Court Thursday charged with second degree burglary while acting in concert with Ashley Rachel Guiterriez. A not guilty plea was entered. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket May 24. Guiterriez was free on bond. Guiterriez is alleged to have broken into a house in Salina, owned by Korbey Knowles, to take property and money from the house Guiterriez and wife Ashley rented at a time before eviction. This incident is alleged to have occured on April 14.

Matthew Dillon Hamilton, 24, Pryor, was in Mayes County District Court Wednesday charged with possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) after a previous conviction and a misdemeanor of drug paraphernalia. Hamilton pleaded not guilty. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket May 24. Bond was set at $10,000.

Hamilton was convicted in 2006 in Cherokee County of possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled dangerous substance without a prescription and drug paraphernalia.

Stephen L. Garrison, Sr. was in Mayes County District Court Tuesday charged with obtaining merchandise by bogus check. He entered a not guilty plea. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket June 15. Bond was set at $1,000. Garrison voluntarily appeared in court on his own and was processed through the county jail Tuesday where he made bond. Garrison is alleged to have written a bogus check for $100 to Rowland Quick Stop in November 2011.

Bobby Lee Kirk, 29, Salina, was in Mayes County District Court Tuesday charged with possession of a controlled substance after a previous conviction and one misdemeanor count of driving without a seat belt. Kirk pleaded not guilty. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket May 24. Bond was set at $30,000.

Kirk is alleged to have had hydrocodone and clonazepam on his person and not worn a seatbelt as a passenger in a vehicle on Highway 20 and Cherokee Monday in Salina. Kirk was convicted in 2011 of possession of a controlled dangerous substance without prescription and larceny of an automobile in Mayes County.

Zachary Wayne Vanbuskirk, 31, Hulbert, was in Mayes County District Court Thursday in a motion to accelerate on a 2009 case of obtaining merchandise by bogus check. Vanbuskirk was supposed to have an attorney present and no attorney was present. He waved his right to a hearing and will return to court on May 28. Vanbuskirk has a warrant for his arrest on a separate case in Rogers County and he was remanded to the custody of the Mayes County Sheriff’s Office.

Vincent Calvin Ross, 30, Salina, was in Mayes County District Court Thursday charged with obtaining merchandise by bogus check. Ross pleaded not guilty. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket June 15. Ross is free on bond. Ross is alleged to have written a bogus check for $50 to Rowland Quick Stop in September of 2011.

Jack Thomas Grissom, 19, Broken Arrow was in Mayes County District Court on Thursday charged with possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute. Grissom is charged in concert with Micaela Danielle Headrick. A not guilty plea was entered. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket May 24. Bond was set at $50,000. Grissom is alleged to have possession of marijuana with intent to distribute on Wednesday at the Sonic in Pryor.

Micaela Danielle Headrick, 18, Broken Arrow, was in Mayes County District Court Thursday charged with possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute. In this charge she is alleged to be in concert with Jack Thomas Grissom.  A not guilty plea was entered. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket May 24. Bond was set at $50,000. Headrick is alleged to have possession of marijuana with intent to distribute on Wednesday at the Sonic in Pryor.

Thomas Isaac Armstrong, 32, Chouteau, was in Mayes County District Court Thursday charged with larceny of an automobile after a previous conviction. A not guilty plea was entered. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket May 24. Bond was set at $50,000. Armstrong is alleged to have stolen a 1992 Ford F-150 pickup truck belonging to Vernie Vanbeber on April 15.

Armstrong was convicted in 2010 in Mayes County of domestic assault and battery by strangulation.
