Bradley J. Tate, 19, Stilwell, was in district court Tuesday charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and leaving the scene of an accident involving property damage. Tate pleaded not guilty. Preliminary hearing sounding docket is June 15. He was free on bond. Tate is alleged to have been driving his 2002 Chevrolet pickup truck under the influence of alcohol on Saturday when he ran into the wall of the Sears store located at 200 S. Mill in Pryor. Tate is alleged to have fled on foot until he was apprehended by Pryor police.
Cody Thomas Smith, 19, Pryor, was in district court Thursday charged with attempting to elude a police officer and reckless driving. Both are misdemeanors. Preliminary hearing sounding docket is June 15. Smith was free on bond. Smith is alleged to have been driving recklessly and eluding a Highway patrol car on Highway 69 and County Road EW 450 on Wednesday.
Casey Lightfoot Malone, 30, Pryor, was in district court Monday charged with burglary in the second degree and knowingly concealing stolen property in concert with Rita Jo Wickliffe. Malone pleaded not guilty. Preliminary hearing sounding docket is June 7. Bond is $50,000. Malone is alleged to have broken into a building on Sunday owned by Barry Yaffe with the intent to rob the building. Malone is alleged to have knowingly concealed a stereo and other electronic equipment belonging to Barry Yaffe.
Malone was convicted in 2010 in Mayes County of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Malone has a motion to revoke the suspended sentence in that case. Bond on that motion to revoke is $12,000. The hearing on that case is May 18.
Brandon Lee Sorum, 40, Salina, was in district court Monday charged with disturbing the peace a misdemeanor. Sorum, represented by counsel Bryan Rock, pleaded not guilty. Preliminary hearing sounding docket is June 15. Bond on this case is $1,000.
Sorum is alleged to have been playing loud music directed at the home of Bruce Chitwood on Friday, April 13. Chitwood has a protective order against Sorum. Sorum will be in court on June 15 regarding his violation of protective order case. Bond on that case is $2000. Sorum was convicted of violating a protective order in 2011 in Mayes County.
Amanda Montgomery, 40. Pryor, was charged with possession of controlled substance in the presense of a minor in Mayes County District Court. She was charged with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in concert with Simon Chase. A not guilty plea was entered. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket May 24. Bond was set at $5,000.
Montgomery is ordered to have no contact with the minor.
Montgomery is alleged to have had Xanex on her person when she was arrested on Tuesday. Montgomery allegedly had a straw that could be used to consume drugs.
Ashley Frago-Guiterriez, 24, was in district court Thursday charged with second degree burglary in concert with Anthony Guiterriez.
A not guilty plea was entered. Preliminary hearing sounding docket is May 24. Guiterriez was free on bond. Guiterriez is alleged to have broken into a house in Salina, owned by Korbey Knowles, to take property and money from the house Guiterriez and husband Anthony rented at a time before eviction. This incident is alleged to have occurred on April 14.
Craig Steven Pierce, 27, Locust Grove. was in Mayes County District Court April 12, charged with endeavoring to manufacture controlled dangerous substance (methamphetamines) in concert with Robert Daniel Knott. Pierce pleaded not guilty. Bond is $50,000. Preliminary hearing sounding docket is May 24.
Pierce is alleged to have endeavored to manufacture methamphetamines by possession of pseudoephedrine, lithium batteries, five Bic lighters and a can of Iroda butane fuel.
