Henry David Gomes, 37, Locust Grove, was in Mayes County District Court Monday charged with second degree burglary. Gomes pleaded not guilty saying that he was in jail at the time the crime occurred. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket Sept. 27. Bond was set at $5,000. Gomes allegedly broke into Manor Baptist Church in Mayes County on April 21, with the intention to steal.
Ashley Marie Rumsey, 20, Salina, was in Mayes County District Court Monday, charged with first degree burglary. Rumsey pleaded not guilty. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket Sept. 27. Bond was set at $50,000. Rumsey allegedly broke into the home of Chelsie Phillips located at 132 Quail Drive in Pryor on Aug. 19.
Stacey Jo Knight, 28, Pryor, was in Mayes County District Court Friday, charged with harboring a fugitive from justice. Knight pleaded not guilty. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket Sept. 13. Bond was set at $5,000. Knight allegedly was harboring Troy Kenney, who is wanted in Rogers County for possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
Jacob Matthew Ledbetter, 26, Chouteau, was in Mayes County District Court Friday, charged with endeavoring to manufacture a controlled dangerous substance. A not guilty plea was entered. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket Sept. 13. Bond was set at $40,000. Ledbetter has an application to accelerate a deferred sentence on a July conviction of possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He will appear in court on that matter Sept. 21. Bond is on that case $10,000. Ledbetter allegedly was acquiring plastic tubing, rubber tubing, pseudoephedrine, three two liter bottles and lithium batteries for the purpose of making methamphetamines between Feb. 1 and Aug 17.
