NEW YORK —
A Salina juvenile has been arrested in connection with a robbery at a Pryor laundromat.
Salina Police and Mayes County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 17-year-old suspect at a family residence in Salina at 3:45 a.m. Wednesday.
The suspect is accused of robbing Anthony Ballou at knife point on Nov. 29. Ballou was doing laundry at 10 p.m. at B&L Cleaners when a man approached, pulled an eight-inch red-handled jack knife and demanded money.
The suspect, an Indian male, threatened Ballou, according to a court report.
The suspect took $490 in cash that belonged to Ballou and left on foot. He was accompanied by a male and a female who were waiting outside.
Det. James Willyard of Pryor Police Department said Jeremiah Feeling and Shawnda Littledave are wanted for questioning.
The charge of robbery with a dangerous weapon is a felony. Court documents filed on Wednesday indicate that the teenager may be prosecuted as an adult.
