Rose —
William Wilkerson is being charged with the first degree murder .
Wilkerson, 30, of Rose, called 911 roughly at 11:25 a.m Wednesday to report that he had killed his mother.
Wilkerson said he strangled her, and then stabbed her with a paring knife. When the paring knife broke, he retrieved a kitchen knife and stabbed her again.
Wilkerson is being held in the Mayes County Jail without bond, his initial court appearance is Friday.
