Tulsa stockyards

A total of 1,661 head sold July 9, compared to 1,344 last week and 3,085 last year. Feeder steers and heifers were not well tested. Steer and heifer calves under 500 lbs. average flesh condition, $3 to $10 higher; over 500 lbs. steady to $5 lower. Buyers selective for quality and condition. Moderate to good demand for most classes. Slaughter cows and culls sold steady. Very light demand for replacement cows offered.
