OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma inventory of cattle on feed for feedlots with capacity of 1,000 or more head, totaled 320,000 head on April 1, down 6 percent from the previous month and down 10 percent from April 1, 2011 according to the Oklahoma Cattle on Feed report issued Wednesday by the USDA-NASS Oklahoma Field Office USDA-NASS Oklahoma Field Office. Placements during March were 56,000, down 25 percent from one year ago. Marketings of fed cattle during March were 74,000 head, down 5 percent from the same month last year. Other disappearance during March totaled 2,000 head.
