Tulsa stockyards
A total of 2,837 head sold Aug. 13, compared to 2,057 last week and 2,781 last year. Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers sold steady in a light test. Steer calves sold $4 to $10 higher. Heifer calves sold $2 to $8 higher. Light weight steers and heifers as much as $20 higher. Buyer demand very good. Slaughter cows sold steady to $1 higher. Slaughter bulls sold steady.
