A total of 1,913 head sold May 7, compared to 2,172 last week and 2,375 last year. Feeder steers and heifers sold steady to $4 higher. Steer and heifer calves sold $2 to $7 higher with some light weights as much as $15 higher. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady to $2 higher.
