Tulsa stockyards
A total of 2,364 head sold Jan. 30, compared to 2,325 last week and 3,013 last year. Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers sold steady to $3 higher, in a light test. Steer calves sold $4 to $10 higher, 475-525 lbs. $12 to $14 higher. Heifer calves sold mostly steady to $4 higher. The market was very active with good numbers of long-weaned and worked short yearling cattle. Slaughter cows sold steady to $3 higher. Slaughter bulls sold steady.
