A total of 2,622 head sold Nov. 26, compared to 3,122 last week and 2,663 a year ago. Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers sold $2 to $3 higher. Steer calves under 525 lbs. sold $8 to $12 higher; over 525 lbs. sold steady to $3 higher. Heifer calves sold $2 to $7 higher with good demand. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady to $2 higher. Old cows bred four months or more sold at $2 over slaughter price and went back to firm. Stock cows in short supply.
