A total of 3,122 head sold Nov. 19, compared to 2,044 last week and 2,611 a year ago. Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers not tested. Steer calves over 450 lbs. sold steady to $6 higher; under 450 lbs., $6 to $8 lower. Heifer calves sold steady to $7 higher. Quality plain to average and less attractive than previous weeks. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady. Packer demand moderate to good. Replacement cows sold to good demand.
