A total of 3,042 head sold May 21, compared to 2,185 last week and 2,285 last year.  Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers sold steady to $2 higher. Steer and heifer calves sold $2 to $6 lower except over 575 lbs. sold $3 to %4 higher. Quality average to attractive with a few plain. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady.
