A total of 2,543 head sold April 23, compared to 1,439 last week and 301 last year. Feeder steers and heifers sold steady on a light test. Steer and heifer calves sold $2 to $6 higher with light weight steers to $10 higher. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady.
