PRYOR —
The horse judging team at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College will be hosting two horse judging clinics; the first clinic will be Tuesday, Feb. 19, and the second clinic will take place Tuesday, March 5. Both clinics will take place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at NEO’s indoor arena.
The February clinic will cover trail, and the second clinic in March will cover western horsemanship and halter.
Anyone who wants to improve their knowledge in judging horses is welcome to attend the clinics. The cost is $10 per person to register. Check-in will begin at 4:30 p.m. on the day of each clinic. All proceeds from the clinics will go toward NEO’s horse judging fund.
“We are hosting these clinics to help prepare horse judging teams for their upcoming judging season,” said Head Coach Amanda Burrows. “We hope to help improve students’ area of expertise by improving rankings and reasons scores in each of the disciplines we will be covering. We will cover a lot of material but hope to have fun in the process.”
