A total of 3,292 head sold Oct. 15, compared to 3,194 last week and 3,496 a year ago. Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers not well tested. Steer calves sold steady to $4 lower, except 400-500 lbs., steady to $4 higher. Quality plain to attractive with a good number of weaned calves. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady.
