A total of 3,142 head sold Sept. 10, compared to 3,573 two weeks ago and 4,015 last year. Compared to two weeks ago, yearling steers and heifers sold steady to $4 higher. Steer calves sold steady to $6 higher. Heifer calves sold steady to $4 lower. Demand very good on 4-6-weight steer and bull calves. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady to $2 higher.
