A total of 2,149 head sold April 2, compared to 1,633 last week and 2,377 last year.  Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers not tested. Steer calves sold $3 to $6 lower. Heifer calves sold $2 to $7 lower. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady.
